Swag_Heavy_Lifting_sDo you think there is a thin line between confidence and cockiness. In our youth, many of us were not in tuned with our capabilities. It took us some time to sift through our strengths and weaknesses. The combination of our genetics and experiences shape our level of confidence.
Once we found our strengths or what we thought were our strengths, we gravitated toward those activities. At that point, some of us were swinging around a lot swagger without skills and some of us had good to great skills, but we did not have the confidence to consistently perform at high levels.

Having confidence is a thought process, but once we start to brag about our abilities we move the bar to a level of cockiness. We all know people who have great skills, that talk trash, and can back it up. So, is the trash talking a deposit or a withdrawal? In other words, should we say things to build people up or to tear them down? Is it possible for some, that talking trash is a method of building confidence on the fly?

Walt Whitman said, “if you done it, it ain’t bragging.”

Some say, “you don’t have brag to have swag!”

What do you say?
